Kunena 7.0.11 & Kunena 6.4.16 – Security Updates Released and K7.1 in RC1 2
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of three simultaneous security release : K6.4.16, K7.0.11 and K7.1 RC2. Just a reminder K6.4.16 receives only securities fixes untill end of 2026, so it's advised for users to upgrade to K7.0.11. K7.0.11 is the last release of the K7.0 because it's replaced by K7.1 branch with the stable release in the corner. The translations for K7.1 on crowdin.com/project/kunena-forum-7-1 needs to be checked or improved becasue it has been generated by TM (Translation Machine).
Solved [K4.0.0B3] Duplicate meta descriptions
Google Webmaster tools -> example.com -> Search Appearance -> HTML Improvements -> Duplicate meta descriptions
You will see a lot of Duplicate meta descriptions, some of these can be solved by blocking some pages in your robots.txt:
Disallow: /user/
Disallow: /*?*
What can I do if I don't want to block any page?
I really don't know, I am just waiting for the kunena developers to add a fix for this issue under the next stable release.
What happens if I just ignore these Duplicate meta descriptions?
Your SEO score will be negatively impacted because google-bot and others bots doesn't like Duplicate meta descriptions.
Sorry to say this but... your competition will always take the lead in this regard.

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<meta name="keywords" content="Kunena, to speak, forum, FireBoard, joomla, community, social networking" />
<meta name="description" content="Kunena! - To Speak! Next Generation Forum Component for Joomla" />
<meta name="generator" content="Joomla! - Open Source Content Management" />
The first one is for responsive design. The second one is for the character type. The third is the keywords. Fourth is the description and the fifth is the CMS generator. I did not see any other meta tags. Am I missing something? I looked at the source code with the latest versions of FireFox and Google Chrome on a few of the pages.

<meta name="description" content="Kunena! - To Speak! Next Generation Forum Component for Joomla" />
and
<meta name="description" content="hello, I have a section on my site where i can post html table representing chess position, I create the diagram ..." />
Please note, every page should have an unique Meta description content
I am not talking about duplicate Meta description within the same single page, I am talking about duplicate Meta description across multiple pages
In conclusion
