I want to migrate from Homepage 1 (J2.5 / Kunena 2.04) to Homepage 2 (Joomla 3.4 / Kunena 4.05)

Intended steps:
  1. Upgrade in Joomla 2.5 Kunena 2 to 3 and then 4 (or directly to 4?)
  2. Install in Homepage 2 -> Kunena 4
  3. Move the database-entries to Homepage 2
  4. Run Kunena 4
Can this succeed?
