Kunena 6.4.9 & Kunena 7.0.1 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.9 [K 6.4.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.1 [K 7.0.1] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

I am running Joomla 3.5.1
Kunena 4.0.10

My Template is from Joomlashack (Onyx)

I am using Kunena a bit differently than most as I am the only member.

When I have a new client I issue them a claim check number and they come to my website to check progress (I repair pro audio gear)
They input that claim check number into a search box that will find their thread.
where they can check the status of the work being done (which saves me a ton of telephone time)

OK Question...
when not logged in (as in; all my clients) there is a Log In box at the top of the forum.
How do I have that NOT show up on the forums?

Currently the site is Joomla 2.5 with the Discussions forum (which works great)
But I am rebuilding the site in Joomla 3.5.1 and "Discussions" is not available for that version.
I really want to use Kunena for this (as I run a full forum with Kunena elsewhere and love the options)

Please help!

This should still work:
  1. Go to Kunena plugins and look at the settings for the Kunena - Joomla Integration plugin: Kunena Forum » Plugins » Kunena - Joomla Integration
  2. Select the Basic tab
  3. Set the value Enable Joomla Login = No
