Solved Can't create a new topic & post

I just upgraded Kunena from 2.0 to 4.0 on a Joomla 2.5 site. We are planning to upgrade Joomla to 3.4 after we get all the bugs worked out in the upgraded components.

The first thing I found is that when I tried to create a new topic and new post, I wrote my post, hit Submit, and got a blank page with "BCC" in plain text at the top. Nothing else.

Edit: The weird thing is, when I go back to the main Kunena page with the topic list, my new topic and post are there, and show up just fine!

What could be causing this, and how can I fix it?

Your extensions uddeim and Kunena discuss are out of date. Please upgrade this extensions. If that doesn't help, try also with the Joomla default template Beez 20.

Thank you! We are upgrading the components that won't work with J 3.4, before upgrading Joomla. I am going to uninstall uddeIM and reinstall it after the Joomla upgrade. Kunena Discuss we don't really need, so I will remove it.

If that doesn't solve the problem, I will post back here. Thanks again.

I installed the newest uddeIM and removed Kunena Discuss, but still getting the same problem. Here is my currect configuration. Tried Beez 2 but that didn't help; went back to Beez 3.

Thank you for the quick reply. I did as you instructed, but it didn't work. Still getting the same results - a blank page that just says "BCC" in the top left corner.

Here are a couple more clues that may help. The posts I am writing are saved and in the topic when I go back 2 pages to the topic page. So Kunena is accepting the new post. It just isn't taking me back to the topic page after I click "submit".

Also, it doesn't behave this way when I edit an existing post. If I edit a post and click "submit", it goes right back to the topic page, with my edit showing, just as it should.
