Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Hi all

I have Joomla 1.5.26 and Kunena 2.0.4 - I want to update it to the new version so can someone tell me in laymans terms what I need to do.

Do I have to upgrade Joomla first, then upgrade Kunena or what?

You'll actually need to migrate Joomla. To make life easier you may want to consider migration tools that are available in the JED: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/migrati...omla-migration/15609

As far as I am aware you won't be able to upgrade to newest Kunena without first migrating/upgrading Joomla because of Kunena's minimum requirements. Check here to be sure: www.kunena.org/docs/K_3.0_Technical_Requirements
