Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hello - I am struggling to install Kunena. I have followed the instructions on:

uninstalling all kunena components
checking that all _kunena_ tables are removed from MYSQLi
ensuring that PHP and MYSQL are the right versions (they are)
It appears to upload the zip file and as soon as it starts to install - it quits

What else can I try?

what is your error?

is it a 500 error?, then enable kunena debug. and paste here the error.

There is nothing to turn on - because it doesn't install - unless I am missing something?
