Question Template issues with modals in BBcode editor

Hi!

This issue has been discussed before, and I've tried all solutions posted so far, but none of them worked for me.

Problem is, when I'm in the BBCode editor, the buttons that open in a modal does not work. It just display a greyed out screen.

I would assume this is a CSS problem. I think the modal is there somewhere, just not in the right position :).

I've tried to adjust the z-index. I've tried to paste all CSS code I've found on this forum. Still no luck.

If I set the "Quick reply"-button to open in a modal, that modal works fine actually. Also with the CKeditor, modals work.

If I switch to protostar, all modals work.

My template is really nothing special, it's based off Boostrap 3.4.1 and very clean overall (It's the home 3 template from olympian themes. Quality stuff :))

I have tried to disable ALL my custom CSS, modal still don't work. I think the problem lies within a conflict with the bootstrap framework that's loaded even if I disable my own custom.css and template.css.

I just can't figure this one out. Please help :).

Here is an URL for testing (guest posting works so feel free ;))

Configuration report posted below.

Truly grateful for advice. Thank you!

Best wishes

Hi.
there is yourwebsite\templates\horme_3\css\ possibly a horme.bootstrap.min.css
there's a line at the bottom with ".hide{display:none !important}"
if you put it on ".hide{display:all !important}"
then  you get more.
it may not be a very nice solution but maybe you can get on with it then
I have sent my modified version as an attachment(zipped)

Wow, Leen! Thank you very much for this. Now when I can see something, it's easier to move forward :D. Well, I guess the best solution for me would be to clone the crypsis template and modify the BBCode editor so that it opens modals in the same way as in the rest of kunena.

All feels doable now when I can actually see what's going on :D.

Thanks again, really appreciate this!

Best wishes
