Post Width Issues was created by csbratton
On my site if I view a forum post as a log-ed out user I am not having an issue, if I view it log-ed in as an administration for post width has an issue (see attachment 1), This does not occur when logged in as a registered user (see attachment 2).

This looks like a reasonably simple thing to fix with a tiny addition to the CSS of your Joomla site template. Your Joomla site template is responsible for the cause of this problem and the general approach to resolving the matter is described in the article My Joomla site template makes a mess of Kunena ... . If you would like a more personal, targeted solution to your specific problem, I can help if you want to contact me privately.

Just so Kunena is aware, my site is running the default Joomla template and the default Kunena template, with colors changed via fill in the box hex values through the Joomla back end. So this is an out of the box issue?

Hi,

I suggest you show one sidebar in the forum menu. Increase width of main body and forum layout will better.

- Please provide your site url if it has been lived.
- Please share tip if it worked fine with you.
- Don't be shy about using the "Thanks" button below if you found my comment helpful :)

The owners of the site want the 3-columns so thats what I have to do. Also I don't know how to increase the width of the whole main body section or I would have tried that before I raised my question. Any advice as to how I do that?

Yes,

I have an other solution for you. You try to increase width of container. The default is 960 px, you can increase to 1000px or more...

Hi,

You need change some CSS rules and edit HTML in the index.php of the protostar joomla template. If you provide me the FTP account, I will help you edit it (Please send via [email protected]).

Regards
