How can I zip my kunena 3.0 template (which is based on Blue Eagle) to make it installable? At the moment, if I zip the template folder, it installs fines, but it misses the language file located in components/com_kunena/language

Just copy the language files into the template folder under language/ and Kunena will pick them up.

Thanks for that. What about the emoticons? I've realised with 3.0, they are referring to media/kunena/emoticons. I'd like to use custom ones located within the template. Is this possible?

TIA

Hi Matias,

After following your instructions, the emoticons works ok; However, the language file is not copied. My template is fontaine; as per your instruction, i placed the language file under

components/com_kunena/template/fontaine/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_kunena.tpl_fontaine.ini

then zip the entire template folder to create the install zip. After installing, the template misses the language file located in components/com_kunena/language.

Anything I'm doing wrong?

UPDATE:
When installing/uninstalling the template (on localhost - MAMP) the screen pops-up an XCache authentication box which I'm not sure whether this relates to the above issue.

regards
