The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.9 [K 7.0.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Try followings:
Choose Access Control Type = User Group
then select:
Primary User Group: Public
Primary Includes Child Groups: = Yes
Secondary User Group: Public
then save and try again.

Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

I will be watching very close to get a clue?
I can't get the public to be able to see anything unless they log in. I have tried just about every way to correct it so far.

davem: I'm guessing that you have:

a) set your category permissions in some way that only allows registered users to access your forum;

b) you have set your Kunena configuration to only allow registered users to access your forum; and/or

c) you have set the permissions on your Kunena menu to only allow access to different parts of your site depending on whether they are logged-in or not.

Well, I am lost. I made every change I can think of with no joy left in it.

Everything in the categories is set to public. Joomla is public and a menu check is good.
I do appreciate your time with this situation though.
