Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

hello.
is it possible to add user rights for file downloads?
something like only users with 25 posts or more can
download attached files?
or is there a plugin wich i can download wich can do that?
i have the latest kunena and joomla versions.

There is no setting for this feature in Kunena. Unfortunately, also I know no plugin which makes this possible.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

to bad.maybe something to ad for the future.
i would like to see our forum being used a bit more.
now eveyone only use the forum to download atachments without
leaving a post or something.
and with this system the regular forum users have a bit advantage
against users with almost no posts.
but thanks for info.
maybe someone alse knows a working plugin for this in a couple days.
maybe there is a other way to manage downloadeble atachments rights.

sorry i dont want to advertise other extensions
but i found a extension who can do this for writing rights.
have a look at this. extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extensi...rum-extensions/19275 maybe i can find something simulair for downloads.
