Hi,

may I know how I can edit the profile fields of each user - i.e. I do not want to include such fields as Facebook, Myspace, Bebo etc. and would like to replace these with other field labels.

After searching through a few forums for the answers, I have managed to find the relevant file in my cpanel interface which allows me to modify the fields of a few labels but not the social media labels, as mentioned above.

Is there a file which I can modify to change the labels as described above?

Please advise on what to do. And do let me know if more specifics are required; I'll be more than happy to give them.

Thanks.

you can override kunena language strings, check components/com_kunena/languages/en-gb/

Then add it on the joomla language override.

Hi,
can I completely remove some fields from the Profile Information page? Linkedin
Delicious
FriendFeed
Digg
YIM
AIM
GTALK
ICQ
MSN
Blogger
Flickr
Bebo

I want to remove all of them, is that possible?

Thanks!

I will do the same, simply remove from the style these fields :) Remove from editing profile and display profile.

What do you mean by that? I need to remove it from the language files or where exactly?

Thanks

add this on the custom.css
Code:
#Kunena div.kiconrow { padding-right: 10px; padding-bottom: 5px; float: left; display: none; }
