The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

hello every one.

I am posting some study materials on my kunena forum, copy material from other source and paste it in my kunena forum. But as I paste it in my kunena forum, the pasted contents lose all the formatting.

my question is:

How can I retain all the formatting as it is on third party site?

My site configuration is attached if needed.

Hello asianshah,

Thank you for posting your configuration report.

Unfortunately Kunena will be not able to preserve your formatting. This is a problem not specific to Kunena. Problem is our source formatting relies on a BBCode structure rather than an HTML one. The contents will not be able to directly copy and past. Also it is also worth noting that copy pasting webpages, word docs, text files, wiki markup, ect. all of specialized markup that is difficult to detect and translate to appropriate formatting. I agree copy and pasting into Kunena is not sufficient, however this is not the intended design decision behind the software at this point in time.
