Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Question Last visit date is always today
There are several things we must do to determin if this is a bug in Kunena (in general) or if it's a bug in your website (in particular). I have a few questions (listed below)
(1) Can you reproduce this problem here at www.kunena.org ? Yes or no?
(1a) If you can reproduce this problem here at www.kunena.org , how did you do it?
(2) ...
(3) ...
(4) ...
(5) ...
I will ask you questions 2-5 when you have answer question 1. It might be a good idea to upgrade to J! 2.5.18

On the Kunena site I have logged in as usual with my username/password and the system responded as stated before with 'last visit : to-day'
What are you trying to tell me in a teacherly way that there are more ways to log in??

I believe you. My question was not "Can you reproduce the problem on your site?" I asked, "Can you reproduce this here, at this website: www.kunena.org ?"HanKortekaas wrote: In my previous posting I have allready stated that I have reproduced it on my site.

After you login in, the last visit date/time is updated. The "last visit date/time" is the last time you logged in.
Let's say you login to your site. As soon as you login, the last visit date/time is updated with that time. Obviously, if you then look at the last visit date a few moments after you login, the "last visit date" will be ... today!
So I guess you could say that, as far as the information in the profilebox is concerned, this information is totally meaningless. The last visit date will always be today.
You stated earlier that this is a bug and it affects all the users on your website. I do not know how many users you have on your forum but, unless everyone is logging in every day, the last visit date may, in fact, be today. On the other hand, if we could see your userlist from your website, we may find something quite different.
Have a look at the userlist at www.kunena.org and you will see the last visit date and, you will see, that for the 38,000 user accounts, the last visit date is not "today", is it?

Joomla stores the date/time when a user last logs in (if a user account has never logged in, this date/time field is NULL); Joomla does not store any previous date/time when a user may have logged in.
This is not a bug in Joomla. This is the way Joomla was designed.
If you want Joomla to remember the last two times that a user logs in, then you should volunteer to join the Joomla development team and redesign Joomla to behave differently.
This is not a bug in Joomla but, perhaps, it's a defect.

I hope that my explanation helps you to understand that this is not a Kunena "bug" ... except that you are right: the last visit date has no meaning and it would be a good idea if the information was removed.
