Hello
I've been slowly working on a site for my friends, specifically working with one of them. I've been tweaking the design of the forum over time and every now and then I learn something new.
Today I've realized that my username was not appearing in our user list. After asking a couple friends to check and see if THEY could see it(thought maybe there was a setting coded in that did not show your own name when viewing), I realised my friend, the other super user, was not showing either.
We originally thought this was a bug with having our users exist BEFORE I set up the forum and so were not registering properly. It took a bit to figure out how to disable them(with their permissions interfering) and enable them but eventually got them to show.
...until I turned their Super User permission back on.
SO:
I guess it's to my understanding that a Super User is NOT suppose to show? I asked if perhaps we wanted to turn those permissions off and only use the one main admin user to do the Super User based work but he said he wanted us(and I think that includes 2 of our other admins) to be able to do their work as admins while on community accounts(Not seperating work users from forum community users)
1. Perhaps I do not fully understand the difference between Super User an Administrator and was wondering if it would make a huge impact to turn it off on our community user accounts(so we just use the main ADMIN user our big time one?)
2. Is there ANY way to turn off the ability to be inivisible to our community in the user list?
I would greatly appreciate the information/assistance with this, as I am trying to make sure things are as smooth as possible for him and the other admins while making things clear to our community nonadmins (Would rather not have them unable to find us in the listings, as they can't even SEARCH us it seems).
