Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hi. I have multilanguage forum and want to hide some category from users. For example, have two category: "Russian support" and "English support". I'd like to hide "Russian support" category for eng forum and hide "English support" category for rus forum. How I to do that? Thx a lot in advance!

This is a very custom issue so it is hard to convey a solution to a unique problem. We do not provide support for these type of issues that are "How tos" unless there is already an option given in Kunena to deal with that.

However I would recommend splitting your user base into separate ACL groups. You can find how ACL groups work here on the Joomla Docs Website:
docs.joomla.org/J2.5:Access_Control_List_Tutorial

Then you can configure you Kunena categories to only allow specific groups.

To do all this is all out of scope of what support we can provide. Once you get the structure set up how you want it though, I recommend you try to work with Kunena category manager and try to set up specific categories that only usergroups have access too.
