Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hello!
Please i installed the kunena forum on my webpage successfully and configured it and also linked it among my menu but when the menu page opens, it shows nothing and brings a report stating "The Requested Page Could Not Be Found"
Please this is my first time using the kunena forum and really wish if anyone can help me out with a step'd procedure on how to make it work.

HTTP 404 errors (the "out-of-date" bookmark/favourite ...", etc. things) are usually caused by problems you have with your Joomla menu. We can help you fix these errors if we know how you have constructed your Joomla menu (see the last message in How To Ask Questions The Smart Way for a big tip that will help you). ;)

Some people have been reporting issues on having Kunena as front page in the past, but we're not been able to track down the issue -- in our test sites it's working..

Unless if you have marked Menu Item Alias (the one in the main page) as home page. It isn't possible in the latest Joomla versions, though..

Another issue could be if you've created a new menu item for Kunena instead of using the one in Kunena menu (or copy of it).
