I've just upgraded my site from Joomla 1.5 to 3.4 and Kunena to the latest version and I find that when first entering Kunena, the Kunena menu does not display. As soon as I click on one of the forum categories the menu appears.

I've tried deleting the Kunena menus and then rebuilding it in the Tools facility but to no avail.

on this report, i can see that the menu is wrong. Please try again.

Forum item type must be "menu alias" with kunena selected

Thanks 810.
That solved it.
There was another quirk. When a member logged out while in the forum they would be left with a log-in module displayed. If they attempted to use that log-in module they would not be logged in. Turned out I needed to put a "." in front of the cookie domain and all then worked. That also fixed the problem of someone clicking the link in the email for a forum notification and being told they needed to log-in even though they were already logged in. (The URL in the email notification did not have www at the front)
