After updating to the latest version of Joomla the top row of tabs has disappeared!
Looking in the code i see this. The links are just not appearing in there.
<div id="ktop">
<div id="ktopmenu">
<div id="ktab"> </div>
</div>
<span class="ktoggler fltrt"><a rel="kprofilebox" title="Collapse" class="ktoggler close"></a></span>
</div>
Any idea where my menu has gone? I haven't changed any settings and it was working before the update...
The kunena menu still exists in the back end and I can manually re-add it by adding the kunena menu as a module above the forum, but then i loose all the styling and the forum index link. So i could edit and re-style this as a back up if i cant re-enable the menu, but i would prefer to fix the issue properly.

The tabs are either disabled in "Backend > Kunena > Templates > Blue Eagle",
or you are using wrong Kunena menu items.

Thanks for the reply.
The menu is definitely enabled in the template.
I went to to forum tools / Menu Manager and used the "restore kunena menu" button.
No other menus have changed in my site for a long time and it was definitely working before.
The menu is still not appearing? Anything else you can suggest?

I have managed to fix it.
For reference the issue seemed to be i was linking from my main menu using the category- top level option. When i changed this to an alias of the site index it fixed the issue!

Hi VastGirth!
I'm having the same symptom. The tabs no longer appear for some unknown reason.
Could you clarify what you mean by "When i changed this to an alias of the site index it fixed the issue! "
Please?
Thansk!
