Hi,
I must be missing something. I'm setting up a forum (3.0.6) on Jooma 3.3 with a number of categories where registered users can post new topics.
All users (also guests) can view all the categories, but I also have 1 category where everyone should be able to post topics, including not logged-in guests.

Is this even possible with the newest Kunena, or am i reaching for the impossible?
Thanks for your help.

you need check 2 things.

1) check permission to write on category
2) Enable write for guests on Kunena config (security - Allow Guests to Post/Write)

Hi,
Now i understand why it won't work. I'm missing the bottom 2 settings: "allowed to post" and "allowed to reply". They are just not there?
Any idea why not?
Thanks very much for your help.

then you are editing a section not a category.

So save this. then click on new. then change parent to the other one. and now you have have more options.

Aha, thanks, that did the trick :)
After creating the subcategory i had to save it first and then reopen and update the security.
Thanks a lot for fast help.
