Hi there!

We are running an “Intranet” with Community Builder and Kunena Forum as well. All Users can access to the Intranet as “REGISTERED” from the front-end.

Right now we have created in Kunena Forum different Categories, all settled as “PUBLIC”. At the same time, in the Kunena User list we do not have set any GLOBAL MODERATOR or Category Moderator.

Having said the above, when a User tries to write a Post, instead of being directly published on the forum he/she get a message that the post has been received waiting to be Moderated.

Since we do not need any moderation or approval for the Posts coming from all our users, could you kindly please help us in understanding how to set correctly Kunena Forum?

(We are running latest version of Joomla (3.3.1), Kunena Forun and Community Builder).

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Enrico

Welcome to Kunena!

There are two settings for this.
In the "Kunena configuration > (Tab) Security > Moderate New Users" But this setting appears to be correct.
The second settings are directly in the categories. "Category Manager > Category > (Tab) Category Settings > Review posts: must be set to No".

Thanks for the quick response.
Unfortunately the settings for the categories are already set as you indicated.
There may be other settings that affect the block of the post until the publication by the super administrator?

Kind regards

Enrico

No, there are only these settings. Try the following: Go to "Security > Moderate New Users" make the field empty and then save. Afterwards empty the Joomla-cache. Maybe it helps.
