Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Admin emails have stopped was created by friday shoes
Launched my forum a few days ago and was receiving user registration and comment moderation emails as I expected to. Then for some reason the emails have stopped even though I've got new people signing up and comments to approve. Bit stumped as to why because I've not touched any of my settings related to email.

Here's my report from Kunena:

You have chosen this setting in the configuration:
Moderate New Users = 3
E-mail Moderators = Unapproved Posts
E-mail Administrators = Unapproved Posts
Therefore after three answers, there is no mail. It's that what you mean?

If you want to be notified every time, then select:
E-mail Moderators = All New Posts (Note: Global moderators and administrators do not get e-mail notifications with this option unless you explicitly assign them as moderators on the category.)
E-mail Administrators = All New Posts
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

No, I'm not getting any mail to approve posts and new registrations. The only mail I get is if I'm subscribed to a topic.

Then the mail delivery works.


No, I'm not getting any mail to approve posts and new registrations.

The registrations has nothing to do with Kunena. This is done through Joomla. But it is still interesting, if subscription emails come in and others do not. Please check your spam folder, maybe you find the mails in there.

Okay, I've got the new user registration emails to work, they come from the main joomla email address [email protected].

Forum subscriptions emails are still working fine from email I've set up in Kunena [email protected].

Moderation emails are not working at all and are not being sent to my moderators either, so still stumped on this one?

Admins also get no mail?
Are your moderators global moderators?
Category moderators receive only mail if the pending message wait in his category.
