Do you have an example where any user can reset the votes of all the other users? Can you, for example, demonstrate this here on the forum at www.kunena.org ?

No, it is not possible to change your vote. The ability to change a vote was removed in K 2.0.3 - see How to setup polls in Kunena.

thanks for your responses.

I have my forum set up so that registered users can vote and reply to threads, but cannot create a new one. This for product stuff. I have tested the voting with a registered user and after they logged their vote, the reset votes link was visible to them.

I have not tried to replicate it here

I suspect the real question here is who should be able to reset the votes?

Could you please go to www.kunena.org/forum/163-Feature-Playgro...r-disappearing-polls and see if you can reset the votes? I can reset the votes (I think) but that's probably because I am a moderator.

Hi, I did as you asked and I was not able to reset them.

I went back to my forum after a reboot of the server before go live and logged in as my separate registered account (no admin rights) and voted. I was not able to reset it this time.

This is only after a reboot.

Odd

oddly enough, I guess so

Can't explain how a reboot of the server would solve that

There could be several possible reasons. It's possible that that Joomla or Kunena session tables got "jumbled up" and the cached information in the server was stale. The significant point is this:

In K 3.0.3, not "anyone" can reset the votes in a poll and that's the important message for others reading this topic.
