I don't know why GeSHi support was dropped, but I sure hope it will be brought back.

Hello,

The geshi support is still here in Kunena but since Joomla! 3, the plugin from has been removed form Joomla! libraries. You need to find a plugin for joomla 3 to make geshi working

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I did not know that. Maybe it's worth mentioning that I'm still using J! 2.5 as I prefer LTS releases, and J! 2.5 still has the GeSHi plugin by default (I am setting up Kunena 3.0 on J! 2.5 as that was possible). Nevertheless, even with the plugin in J! 2.5 code highlighting doesn't show in Kunena. Seems odd.

This is my second Kunena-related blooper I made this week.. I had Code Highlighting disabled in the Kunena config. I should pay more attention , feel free to laugh with me ;)

Hello!

I have problem in BBCode CODE(Enable Code Highlighting), does not work with it selected (YES). Not appear the options to select the desired language. Ie, does not work.

I'm using a clean install of Joomla and Kunena

In version 2.0 did not have this problem.

GeSHi code highlighting was removed from J! 3.x. This is why code highlighting does not work by default. See Kunena Features

See msg #2. You need to find a plugin for J! 3.x that handles GeSHi code highlighting.

You can find a GeSHI plugin for Joomla 3 here . I have tested it on Kunena and there are no issues.
