Hello,

Not too long ago, I upgraded my Kunena version from a 1.x (on a J1.5 site) to a 2.0 (on J2.5) and from there to Kunena 3.0 on the same J2.5 site. All worked well.

While making a backup copy of my MySQL database, however, I noticed that there are now two sets of tables relating to Kunena:

jos_fb_ - which I assume must be the old tables of my old Kunena version

jos_kunena_ - which I assume must be of the latest Kunena version and that which is currently used

So my question is simple:
can I safely remove all jos_fb_ tables from my SQL database, without risking any problems? Or are they still being used by Kunena 3?

I ask this because my forums are rather large, and having them twice on there in the database takes up alot of unneeded space on the server.

Thanks!

Hello,

The tables jos_fb_ aren't used anymore by Kunena, so you can delete them safely.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
