Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural changes that occurred in K 2.0, many of the ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Question Can you move the Kunena Ban function to Community Build Profile page?

Currently working on a social/community website that has a need for moderators to block (Disable Joomla User) users from the front end. The only function that I have found that fits is Kunena's ban function. The problem exists that moderators see user lists generated by CB, and everything is integrated with the CB profile, and will remain that way. To utilize a block through Kunena, a moderator would need to find a post by the user, moderate the post, and then click on the Kunena profile there (ex. User(34)) as that is the only place they have access to it.

This presents the problem of a user having had to make a post in Kunena before a moderator would be able to block the user. I have looked into moving the code from Kunena into CB but have had zero luck. ANyone able to help, or at least point me in the right direction?
