Kunena 7.0.9 & Kunena 6.4.14 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.9 [K 7.0.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural changes that occurred in K 2.0, many of the ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

default post content (adding content into message box on new topic creation) was created by Philip Bainbridge
Hey everyone and a happy new year to you all.
OK so i have something i would like to do on my site. I am running latest kunena alongside jomsocial.
Basically the forum is only being used for a stolen car report section. Is there any way to add default content into the text area when a new topic is being created. As the forum is only being used for this reason i would like the default text to show in yjr text box when creating a new topic..
For example If i went to create a new topic i would like this information below to be already entered so the user can just add there info to the end of each line.
Hope you can help me.
Many Thanks and Kind Regards

below is an example i have made on my site. The site is online but not currently active as it is still in dev stage

I have a favourite saying: "Nothing is impossible; everything has a cost."
Your request is not impossible but it's also not easy. You have made the issue more difficult by combining two, separate, matters into the one topic. We prefer to keep one topic per subject.
Ever since I started moderating this forum, I have observed a curious behaviour that has led me to revise my favourite saying: "Nothing is impossible; everything has a cost. The solution becomes immediately evident as soon as someone puts a price tag on the problem."
There are two issues here:
(1) The requirement for a form-driven message input mechanism for the forum. We have had several discussions about form-driven input for the forum in the past. Nothing has eventuates from these discussions owing to a lack of dedication to the idea and an absence of sponsorship to fund the idea.
(2) Changing the way the topic icon is displayed in connection with the Kunena Latest module.
These two issues do not seem to relate to one another. I do not know if anyone knows how to answer both questions with a single reply. I think it would be better to separate these two issues from one another and have two separate topics.
