Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural changes that occurred in K 2.0, many of the ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Hi,

I see 4 js (jQuery) errors on your post page, few of them could be caused by nissing images inside post. Others are related to some image rotator.

1. You should enable Debug Mode in Kunena Configuration and report here if you see some errors.
2. You need to check if you have installed some modules/plugins/components in last few days
3. You can try to update your Kunena to latest 2.0.2 version, maybe this could solve your issue (take a backup before)

Error I am getting

Upgrading Kunena to version 1.6.4 has failed!
Your forum may be missing some important fixes and some features may be broken.
Please try to upgrade again. If you cannot upgrade to Kunena 1.6.4, you can easily downgrade to the latest working version.

If you are genuine about being prepared to pay for assistance in this area, please contact me via email (my email address is on the team page). From the looks of your configuration report, the first step is to remove your dependence on J! 1.5 legacy mode; the second step is to upgrade K 1.6.4 to K 2.0.2.

The "MySQL server has gone away" issue is probably a hosting problem and you may need to discuss this with you current web hosting provider. Those kinds of things are not necessarily within an external consultant's ability to fix. I think that the first step on the path to resolving these problems is to discuss this via Skype. Send me an email, if you are interested, and we can make an appointment for a one-on-one consultation after that.

I think your problems are a bit more "involved" than it would be possible to address them all via the forum here. I have sent an email to you and I invite your response under the conditions I have set out in my private correspondence with you. :)
