Hey guys,
I found some issues related to Kunena forum
It seems that whenever I tried to access the forum, it always redirected me to Index of /forum/.
This is my site: PCGamesAddicts.com
I can still access the forum if I go directly to one of the forum topic. This one for example: pcgamesaddicts.com/en/forum/welcome-mat/1-welcome-to-kunena#1
Yet, whenever I tried to reply a topic or other actions, it showed me "This webpage has a redirect loop"
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

G'day to you too mate
Unfortunately, resetting the menu doesn't help
The settings for SEO are already correct as well
I believe the problem is caused by the third party SEF as the forum worked perfectly when I disabled it.
This is my configuration:

The Kunena template that you are using was designed for a older version on Kunena and it is not maintained or supported by the Kunena team. Please contact the designer of the template you have chose to use to establish if it is compatible with K 2.0.4 or use the K 2.0 Blue Eagle template instead.

It may help others looking at this topic to know the name and version of the third party SEO/SEF tool you were using. I would also agree that many of these other SEO "improvement" products tend to be more trouble than they're actually worth. If disabling the third party SEO/SEF extension works for you, then I think you've found your answer.

Changed the template to the default one
Well, I'm using MijoSEF and I believe it is compatible with current kunena version. Hmm, disabling it certainly fix the problem but the url seems unprofessional. I don't think it's a good idea to show something like ?Itemid=233&option=com_kunena&view=home&defaultmenu=235 to the visitors. Something I'm confused about is that why the redirect errors only occur for several components (mostly action buttons, reply topic, moderate topic, delete topic, etc.) not all?

I have no personal knowledge of MijoSEF apart from what I've read in the JED and if the developer claims that it works with K 2.0.4 on J 2.5.8 then that's something you should ask the developer of MIjoSEF about. The Kunena project makes no claims about SEO/SEF except that Kunena works perfectly well with native Jooma SEO. If Joomla's native SEO is not what you want and if MijoSEF works better for you that's your choice.

I have no information for you about K 2.0.4 and MijoSEF but perhaps another member of the community may have some first-hand experience and can help you.

This is only my personal opinion but I would not recommend or endorse any SEO/SEF products at all especially if your server is not geared to accommodate exponentially increasing usage of memory as your forum grows.
