Kunena 6.4.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.8 [K 6.4.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Question Login via User Actions Option not working

Hi All

I have Kunena (Latest) up and running and I am able to log in via Joomla/K2 and have no issues here.

However when i try and log in via the "User Actions" menu in the kunena font end from a post the button does nothing.

I have tried installing the Kunena Login module as well and after doing this it says it was successful but it is not visible in the module list.

Any ideas here?

G'day, bashirj, and welcome to Kunena.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean when you say "login via the 'user actions' menu" - because I am unfamiliar with the term "user actions menu". Perhaps you could show us a picture of this menu?

It may also help to see your configuration report which may explain something about issues you seem to be having with the Kunena Login module. I am not quite sure what is the real question here. Is your question about how to login to your site (but you write that you "have no issues here") or is your question about the Kunena Login module?

Thank you for your configuration report and for the image that helps us understand what you are talking about. In no particular order, here are the answers to your various questions:

(1) The "user actions"/"login" module is not part of the Kunena project and you need to talk to the person who developed that module. It looks like these things were installed as part of another Joomla extension but we don't know anything about how they work or what they do.

(2) Your configuration report shows that you have installed the Kunena Login module. Unless you have a particular use for this module you can uninstall it because you do not need it.

(3) We do not have a PM facility at www.kunena.org
