Kunena 2.0.1 - Joomfish 2.2.3 - Error 404 was created by brunog916
Hi all,
I'm installing Kunena on my website (currently, only local copy). The site main language is Italian and it is also translated in English using Joomfish.
The main page in the forum is correctly translated:
From "http://localhost/Joomla/it/forum"
To "http://localhost/Joomla/en/forum"
If I try to translate any other page in the forum, I get a 404 http error, i.e.:
From "http://localhost/Joomla/it/forum/my_category"
To "http://localhost/Joomla/en/forum/my_category"
This happens even if I write the address manually
I'm using Joomla 1.5.26
Any help is appreciated
Regards,
Etnatracker

[SOLVED]
It seems the problem is related to friendly url settings, if I disable this, the forum works well.
Unfortunately, I cannot disable friendly url, so I uninstalled Kunena and I'm using another extension, less powerful than Kunena but I really need url translation so this was the only solution

Bruno

Hi Nancy,
everything is ok with htacces, I use it on the site to redirect, cache ancd compress content with apaches directives.
No way to find out why kunena urls are not translated, I had to remove the component and installa another forum.
Thanks for you help
