Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hello everyone, sorry if this has been discussed but my searches didn't find anything

I have a site that was using jomsocial for discussions, but we feel these are not really what we want for our site, the options are limited and we don't like the format, so we want to move to a proper discussion board, you guys.

Are you aware of any plugins, that can take the jomsocial group discussions and automatically add all content to kunena, or am I going to have to do some code hacking myself. If so, any pointers in the right direction?

You probably need to do it by yourself, but it would be nice if you posted the progress into our forum.

If you want to do it in Joomla, we have great API in Kunena 2.0 which allows you to create categories, post topics, reply and so on easily without knowing all the details.
