Kunena 6.3.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.8 [K 6.3.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural changes that occurred in K 1.7, many of the ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Hi there,

I've just installed your mod_sw_kbirthday and I'm really confused as to how it is supposed to get the birthday dates of users?
Do I HAVE to have Community Builder installed?

I have the latest version of Joomla running, latest version of Kunena up and working and now the latest version of mod_sw_kbirthday.
And it does show in frontend that it is published - Just need to know how it gets the birthdays. (I have syncronized my joomla users with kunena). I'm sorry if this has been discussed in the forum somewhere - didn't understand much of what I found written there.

Hi there,

I'm using:
1. latest version of the birthday module mod_sw_kbirthday
2. latest version of kunena
Note: I'm not using community builder.


For some bizarre reason, next to any of my other dates this: "_SHORT" is added after the month. (See picture).



Can anyone help me out please, I'm on an urgent project
