Kunena 6.3.7 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.7 [K 6.3.7] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural changes that occurred in K 1.7, many of the ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

So I'm using Aphotic template and Zephyr theme from RoketTheme. For some my link colors were blue even though my template has links and menus set to display in red. When I went into Aphotic's css file, it actually listed red as link color even though they were showing blue. I added !important after the color and it fixed the link issue.

No, how do I change tab color and icon color (talking about those little blue flders)? I would think that changing the menu tab color is also css file edit but I have no clue what variable it is. What about those folders? Can their color be changed or would I have to upload different images? Whare are they located?

dzikson: I have merged your question with a topic that relates directly to you situation and make this observation:

General questions about how to modify the style, colours, fonts, etc., of templates that are not developed by the Kunena project will receive the general response which is that people who have these templates do so at their own risk and any issues that arise from using those templates should, in the first instance always, be handled by contacting the authors of those templates.

It is impractical, from the viewpoint of the Kunena project, to handle each and every difficulty or issue that may arise from user-written templates simply because the people who are involved in the Kunena project have no intimate knowledge of how these templates were constructed. However, that's not to suggest that it's inappropriate to ask questions about these matters here at www.kunena.org . In my opinion it is just not appropriate to expect that the K 1.6 Templates and Design category is the right place to address those matters.

As I don't know anything about the Aphotic II template, it would be better to wait for the author of that template to respond directly to the questions you have asked. However, from a general perspective, most of these questions about changing the colours of things are answered by looking at the FAQs tab at the top of this page and, in particular, How do I change the colours of my template in Kunena?

The "little blue folders" that you mention are known as category icons. You can find more information about creating your own custom category icons if you search the forum for "custom category icons".

I hope that helps.
