On a user's profile in JomSocial there is a spot that shows "My Kunena Forum Posts". I would like to change this to say "My Forum Posts". Where can I edit this in the backend or is there a file I can modify? I checked the plugins but it does not let me rename it from there.

I am trying to find out the same thing.
I have searched and read until my eyes hurt.

I am using Joomla 1.7, Kunena 1.6.5 and Jomsocial 2.2.4.

On my profile it says "My kunena updates" and I would like to change it to "My Forum Posts".

Well I guess we'll have to wait and see if anyone can help us with this.

You would need to change the plugin name because JomSocial displays exactly what it sees. Without checking, I'm not sure if you can do this from the backend. If not, just edit the xml file to the name you want and clear plugin cache.

in mykunena.xml
translate it "PLG_MYKUNENA_FORUMPOST"
<name>PLG_MYKUNENA_FORUMPOST</name>

My mykunena.xml doesn't have PLG_MYKUNENA_FORUMPOST as a variable in the file. I do have this, which I think you are referring to:

<install version="1.5" type="plugin" group="community" method="upgrade">
<name>My Kunena Forum Posts</name>
<creationDate>2011-08-30</creationDate>
<author>Kunena Team</author>
<authorEmail>[email protected]

Removing "My Kunena" from the text above doesn't work. I looked for a plugin cache setting, and found the overall joomla cache settings, which I cleared and didn't help.
