Hello friends,

I am having a very strange issue. My Forum was working fine. After upgrading to K 1.6, everything works fine except when viewing a topic, the user name on top of the avatar, instead of displaying the actual User Name, it displays the following HTML code:

<a href=" www.mysitehere.com/username/ ">Username

Please, how to fix this issue?

Many Thanks in advance.

When posting messages to the Support category, please read the posting guidelines printed at the top of the page.. Without seeing your K 1.6 configuration report, I am guessing that you have Community Builder installed. Am I right?

Most importantly, K 1.6.3 is not supported. Upgrade to K 1.6.4 (see K 1.6.4 Upgrade Guide )

Upgrade to CB 1.4 (it's explained in the K 1.6.4 release notes )

Upgrade to J! 1.5.23 and disable "legacy mode" (this is explained in K 1.6 Technical Requirements )

Upgrade the Kunena add-ons to their latest versions.

Thanks again. Yes I am aware that I have to upgrade some Extensions, Mods etc in my Joomla. The problem is that I am so busy these days that I don't have enough time to get myself into upgrade processes right now. I will do it as soon as I find some time. What I was in need of in the mid-time was a quick fix to this Username display problem in Kunenan. Would you mind helping?

I think it shouldn't be a big issue and it shouldn't be a big deal for you developers and Support Techs.

Please help!

Many Thanks.

It's your site and those are your issues to deal with as a priority for you to assess.

If you don't want to deal with these things yourself, you always have the option of paying someone to do them for you. Is that an option for you?
