Question Remove JUST thank yous from activity stream

It doesn't work like that.

Kunena writes to Jomsocial's activity stream. Jomsocial just prints it so it's a edit on this side.

I'm not really the best person to try to answer these kinds of questions. I don't use JomSocial and I don't know anything about how to set it up or whether it's possible to option JomSocial to exclude certain events from the activity stream. You may be right: the issue may lie on the "Kunena side"; I really don't know anything about the JomSocial activity stream. Perhaps someone else, with more understanding of JomSocial, can respond to this topic.

You can either wait for someone else to help you here or you might try asking at JomSocial if you think you will get an answer quicker from there.

Turns out Jomsocial's API isn't powerful enough to allow for filtering, I requested it as a feature and we'll see if I get lucky.

Saw your post as I was working on a similar topic. The call to add the thank you to the stream is found at components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.thankyou.php on line 79. Comment out 78 & 79. That should do the trick.

FYI, It is calling the function located on activity.php in the jomsocial integration folder.
