Adding a signature is not showing. Can you tell me where people can go in and create/Edit a signature? Also is there a way that if someone hits delete post for example, that it will promt an "are you sure you want to delete" before actually deleting? I know you can re instate it but it would be nice to have a warning first. :) Thanks for the help :)

Adding or editing a signature - as with many things - depends on whether you are using Kunena or whether you are using a third-party social networking component that you've integrated into Kunena (like JomSocial or Community Builder, for example). It also depends on what version of Kunena you are using and what version of Joomla you are using. If we had the answers to these questions we might be able to answer yours.

It's a bit difficult to re-instate something that wasn't built into the software in the first place. No, there is no "Are you sure?" confirmation if someone presses the delete button. What is worse is that moderators can accidentally delete a whole topic because Reply Topic is located next to the Delete Topic button, but that's another issue).

Good point but this issue is off-topic to your question about how to add or edit a user's signature.

My site, www.theperkypickle.com had a signature line. Each member could customize their sig lines...and they did - in a big way. Annoying, nonetheless, once I upgraded to JomSocial 2.2 the signatures went missing. Seems like it would be a JS problem, but they say it is Kunena.

Where do I create a signature?
Does the My Kunena plugin for JS work with JS2.2?

J 1.5.23
Kunena 1.6.3
JS 2.2

Thank you!

I don't know, specifically, because I don't know too much about JomSocial. The rest of what I am going to write is educated guesswork.

I don't know what version of the My Kunena you are using. Your K 1.6 configuration report will tell us that. This website, however, uses Jomsocial and, when you click your profile, you can see your JomSocial profile page. You need to add (or change) your signature in the Kunena profile. At this website ( www.kunena.org ) there is a button marked "Forum" on the JomSocial profile page. Without knowing how that menubar was created, the target of the "Forum" menu item is www.kunena.org/forum/myprofile therefore it would be fairly easy to create a menu button on your site that does the same thing (i.e. the target of the menu item would be "forum/myprofile" assuming you are using SEO at your site which, I think, you are).

Perhaps the My Kunena plugin does this; maybe the JomSocial Kunena Menu plugin does it; maybe it's done some other way. I really don't know. I did not setup JomSocial on this website and I don't have experience in these matters.

Kunena does have a signature thing. I saw the elements for it is the default css. As for the Forum tab in JomSocial, most likely it was the My Kunena plugin for JS. Apparently it no longer works with the JS 2.2 upgrade. It has a built in tab for Kunena. That being said, even if you go to the profile page for Kunena, it still does not give you a place to edit the signature line. Any ideas?

I understand that there are new versions of Kunena add-ons (for K 1.6.4) that will be available when K 1.6.4 is released. I don't know any more than that, sorry.
