Question Login and Edit issues

Hello,

Trying to log in to Kunena from the forum homepage redirects me to the homepage. So does the "Edit Profile" button once logged in. This may well be another SH404SEF issue but maybe the answer is already known here.

The only thing that i can advise you is to sue default joomla sef system instead of sh404sef

Hmm, thanks. That will be a bit difficult because I have so many URLs already created by SH404SEF and indexed by search engines. I guess I could disable it for Kunena component alone as it works for everything else. They should put more effort in to get the components working better together, but it turns out they also have their own forum. Conspiracy theorist Thanks anyway. More suggestions welcome.

Continued to look into this and I wasn't aware you could do this for individual components. In the SH404 configuration >> by component tab >> under URL Processing I chose "skip" and under "use sh404 plug in if available" I selected the "use Joomla! router.php" option. Then purge URLs. Seems to fix most of the issues I was having.. including "Login" "Edit PRofile" and "User profile" all redirecting to the homepage.

I hope this is of use to someone else.
