This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
Question Wrong order of posts
I found that after upgrading to Kunena 1.6.1 I've lost control of posts' ordering. The order in a thread view is always DESC, no matter what is set up in user's profile.
I don't know if it is only my problem, as I've found here no thread about it.
Now I have found that in the file /components/com_kunena/funcs/view.php in line 308 there is a condition. It looks like:
Tested on Joomla 1.5.20 and 1.5.22

What the code means in fact?
If my profile ordering is set to 0 (ascending) it omits this setting and gets the config->default_sort. It uses my ordering setting only if I have it set to 1 (desc). I get it always descending in result.

This is most unusual. I've not seen any other reports like this that affect users after they have upgraded to K 1.6.1. I tested this out myself and the preferred message ordering option works for me.I found that after upgrading to Kunena 1.6.1 I've lost control of posts' ordering. We are talking about the settings like I've shown in the following image, aren't we?

Sounds to me that this is something that you need to discuss with the good folks at Joomlapolis .
Can anyone else confirm that they are experiencing the same issues with CB 1.3.1?
