Question Sync avatars between Kunena 1.6 and Community builder

Is it possible to sync the avatars between Community Builder and Kunena 1.6? I like the new look of the profile of Kunena, but when I select Kunena in the dropdown list from the configuration page -> integration the avatars are gone.

There's no "synching" of avatars between Kunena and Community Builder. You either use CB avatars or you use Kunena avatars.

Thank you for the answer. I was wondering this because it is not possible to change the CB avatar when you use Kunena for viewing and editing the profile. I want to use Kunena instead but then all the avatar pictures are gone.

There are other ways of changing the CB avatar. You just have to give your users another way. Community Builder provides you the tools to allow users to change their avatar image. If you want you users to use the Kunena user profile, then keep the profile integration set to "Kunena" and the avatar integration set to "Community Builder". It's up to you how you inform your users how to use your website.

Where I use CB on my sites, I have a user menu item that allows my users to go to the Community Builder page where they can modify their avatar image (if they want) and do the other CB things. When my users access the forum, they get the CB avatar but they use the Kunena user profile. I find that the Kunena user profile is better for users when they use Kunena. CB is used for other things. This is just my opinion, of course.

I tried this before, but I don't like the CB profilepage so much. But I will add this because I want to give the visitors the possibility to change there avatar. Some changing to do. Thanks again.

It simple. Give you users a menu option to allow them to use CB update their avatar. Set Kunena to use Kunena user profiles but use CB avatars.

Give your user CB outside the forum; don't give your users CB inside the forum. Two seconds work. Do you understand?
