Question Gender in Kunena profile

I've just upgraded to Joomla 1.5.22, Community Builder 1.3.0 and Kunena 1.6.1 and I have a problem.

I have set the CB Forum Integration plugin's Sidebar mode to Beginner (Field Selection). And I use one of the CB fields in the Personal Text field and I've also activated the Location Field. But for some strange reason I still get the gender icon next to the Location icon on my users. If I hover the mouse over the Gender icon it says: "Gender: Unknown"

The Gender Field in the Forum Integration plugin is set to "-Select Field-" like the rest of the fields I don't want to use.

There seems to be a bug that's causing this.



I first made a post in the Community Builder forum because I though it was a CB issue, but Krileon, one of their developers took a closer look at it and said:

Seams to be a bug of Kunena. Reviewing source with Beginner mode selected and no field selected for Gender then nothing concerning Gender is passed to Kunena. Through testing this is the case regardless of whether you're using Kunena integration or not. I recommend posting this issue on the Kunena forums.

Have you searched this forum for the answer to your question? We've had the same questions asked before for CB 1.2.3 and a solution to this problem was found. I haven't had time to test CB 1.3 yet so I don't know what has changed - in particular what has changed involving CB integration with Kunena - but you can certainly show the gender in Kunena based on the value in CB.

I have searched, but I haven't found anyone else with the same problem I'm experiencing.

What is it thats exactly controlling whats shown in the users tab next to a users post?
Are all the settings in the CB Forum integration plugin (cb.simpleboardtab)? Further testing has revealed some other problems with this plugin.

The settings in the previous pictures results in this user tab:



As you can see, even though the name field is not selected, the name still shows up and the same goes for the avatar. The online status is also shown, but I don't know if that is something you can control from this plugin.
The "Personal Text Field" and "Location Field" is working correctly, but for some reason, even though the "Gender Field" is not selected, a gender icon shows up on the tab. None of my users are registered with a gender and my CB Field list doesn't even have a Gender field.

Just to test I've tried to activate some of the other fields like the "AIM Field", but it has no results, even though I select a CB Field I know have data from the user registration in it. But some of the fields work, like the "Website Field".
