Question Sub Menu URL's Don't Reflect Main Menu Alias URL

I'm sorry if this answer is already posted. When I search this forum, it returns totally empty blank pages.

My sub menus such as search, recent, etc. don't reflect the name of my forum. The topics and categories do just fine though. I've deleted and rebuilt the menus in Kunena control panel successfully but it doesn't help.

My forum alias is named /qa/. I believe a sub menu item like "search" should look like site.com/qa/search/. However, it looks like site.com/search/ on the top level of my site. All sub menus are like this.

I can't figure out what I have configured wrong. Please let me know. Thanks.

Your forum search page has the URL <your-domain-name>/search/search.html and, if I understand your question correctly, you want it to be <your-domain-name>/qa/search. Is that correct?

You have an issue with sh404SEF. What does the sh404SEF manual or forum advise you to do on this matter. What happens if you disable sh404SEF for Kunena pages?

Thank you for the reply Sozzled.

You are right. It is and sh404sef issue. Sorry to bring the issue here.

For anyone with the same issue, here is the fix -

1. Go to sh404sef configuration at "By component" and for Kunena in the 4th dropdown box, turn that option to "Use sh404sef plugin if availalble" and in the last inputbox insert "forum" (or whatever alias you are using) and save configuration.
2. In sh404sef control panel > Extensions configuration at "Kunena" tab set "Insert Kunena name" to YES and Save.
3. Now go to "URL manager" and flush all Kunena SEF urls and check if it`s ok now it should do what you need.

Thanks again.
