Kunena does not have these libraries. They're a part of Joomla. Any Joomla component can call them and have them be loaded, they're there specifically for that. Additionally, these libraries are practically a defacto standard used throughout the web, it's hardly unique to Kunena or Joomla.

These libraries get cached locally on the user's browser. Once they're loaded, they don't get downloaded again. So only the initial page load calls for them to be retrieved by the browser. Every other page load ignores these libraries on the server.

Additionally, the libraries are gzip-compressed by the server before being sent to the browser, so they're even smaller than is actually reported by pagespeed.

I've gone through the whole pagespeed optimization bit, and it turns out that these libraries are the very least of what makes web pages load slowly. Hardly worth dealing with at all. If you find that your forum is loading slowly, it's definitely not because of these libraries. There are other underlying causes. Check the page creation time (displayed at the bottom of each forum page) to see if the server load is too high. More than 1 second is considered somewhat slow.

But the long loading times of the Mootools components are only present on Kunena Forums component. None of my other site pages have this. A forum is only a small part of my site and it's the slowest.
