Hi Kunena support group

When I run Recount Category Statistics in the backend I get this error after some time:
Code:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 720 seconds exceeded in C:\Storage\Web\Site1\components\com_kunena\class.kunena.php on line 442
There are nearly 100,000 messages and 351 categories in the DB. Perhaps this is not a new bug as all larger forums would fail in the recount process due to hitting the maximum execution time limit.

Keep up the VERY fine job

I hacked the kunena file and lifted the php limit and kunena ran for 2-3 hours doing the recounting, but it did never finish and no categories were re-counted.

I tried the same in my test site with 220 000 messages and it took less than 10 seconds to recount everything.

So you seem to have issues with your database configuration. :)

Like using MyISAM instead of InnoDB and not having the whole DB in the memory. :)
