Hi everybody,

I've just been installing and testing the new release on my localhost installation.

When I activate CB avatars and/or CB profiles, the frontend breaks and displays the following message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 98304 bytes) in C:\Programme\AA Internet\xampplite\htdocs\joomla15\administrator\components\com_virtuemart\classes\ps_checkout.php on line 519

I use:

Joomla 1.5.9
PHP 5.2.8
Virtuemart 1.1.3

The same prompt also appears after deactivating Virtuemart.

Any clues how to solve this?

Thanks.

Try to uninstall virtuemart. I don't know why virtuemart is loaded in Kunena Cb integration. Do you have virtuemart plugin in CB?

I haven't found any CB plugin for Virtuemart that is designed for the current versions of CB, Virtuemart or Joomla. Is there one?

I had to uninstall the Virtuemart component as well as the Virtuemart modules _cart and _product_categories.

Kunena seems to be working now. So, for the time being, I have to make a choice: Either Virtuemart or Kunena...

Thank you for fixing that.

Other solution would be to increase your PHP memory limit in your php.ini, .htaccess or whatever config. Ask your hoster. 32 or 48 MB are pretty common these days. CB loads plugins, and some can need quite some memory. PHP being memory-inneficient, don't be surprised when a 25 chars string takes a few kilobytes !
