Error 404 was created by edoat
Hi Kunena,

I have installed the beta version and run into serious problems. After activating the forum I was able to enter it via my site, which was already opened. When opening a new browser and going to my website I received only http error 404 messages (only on the frontend). I wasn't able to open my website in what so ever way. Even deinstallation didn't work. I have restored a backup of my site, but I'm afraid to install the forum again.

If you like to do some debugging I can re-install the forum, but under your instructions. Please let me know!

Do not install the ALPHA. There is no beta available.

Here are instructions on how to downgrade back to stable version:

docs.kunena.com/index.php/Downgrading_Kunena

PS. it was not beta, you installed alpha version (public preview). Kunena 1.5.1 Beta should be out in 24 hours, but I wouldn't use it for production use either -- at least without seeing how many issues it still has.

Kunena is loaded only when it's active (you are in the forum), so you shouldn't get error messages anywhere else than in the forum. If your whole site broke up, you must have other issues with it (SEF?).

Sorry, I made a mistake. It wasn't the beta version, but the Alpha version. It's not a problem to install the forum, because I have a test site which is used for testing only. I didn't use the forum on an operational site, so there is no need for anythnig stable. I was just curious about the forum and I saw some errors. I don't know what has caused the errors, but as I have already told, as soon as I have installed the forum I run into the errors. I did instal the forum twice to be sure. It is probably a combination of things?!?

No. Just that's it's alpha. Beta should be right around the corner. Unless you're testing with the purpose of reporting bugs back then use the latest stable version-1.0.9.
