Hello,

I have the same problem with 1.5.0a

I know that is a very beta version but its very important for testing purposes. Please let me know if there is any fix.

At the moment the only thing that is coming in my mind to do is to add categories and forum manually from database.

Cheers.

As we have written elsewhere, and we will probably continue to write in the future, there is no support here for Kunena 1.5.0a, an alpha test version which is only to be used by experienced (or expert) users. Kunena 1.5.0a should only be installed for regression testing purposes.

Unless you have evidence that a feature that worked in Kunena 1.0.8 or V1.0.9, does not now work with version 1.5.0a, please do not ask for help on how to use this latest, test version.

If you want to experiment with Kunena, in choosing whether it's the right product for your needs, you should install Kunena 1.0.9.

I'm having exactly the same problem as the original poster. My Kunena version is 1.0.5 and joomla 1.5.10

So some help would be nice.

If You are running Kunena 1.0.5 beta you should update to latest stable release Kunena 1.0.9. IF the problem still exist then report back and someone will probarbly try to help you.

IF you on the other hand are running 1.5.0 alpha read the announcement in the top of this forum:

Please, DON'T INSTALL KUNENA 1.5.0a IN PRODUCTION SITES, K1.5.0a is an alpha release for testing purposes.
We currently do not support the production use of it. We expect to release 1.5.1b (beta) in the upcoming weeks.

IF you run a alpha or beta release you should have the skill to work around bugs in your own way.

Visit the Kunena documantation .

I know there's no support for kunena 1.5 version, but a little bit explanation would be very appreciated.

thanks :)

Yes, you must run 1.0.9 in legacy mode.

To backup forum contents (if you're uninstalling to put another version, no need, they are saved) just check your mysql admin for the jos_fb tables ;) (where jos_is your joomla prefix)
