Kunena 6.4.7 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.7[K 6.4.7] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.
Question Can't Create New Forum
I must be missing something. I can't seem to add a new forum. I click on the "Forum Administration" link in the Kunea Control Panel and then click "New". It then take me back to the Control Panel. Nothing I seem to try will get me to a screen where I can enter information for a new forum or new child forum.
Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: I just noticed nimco posted an identical topic. Many apologies for the repeat post.

Think I may have found the problem and a work around.
The "New" button under "Forum Administration" points to:
index2.php?option=com_kunena&task=showAdministration#
If I manually enter this in the address bar it works:
index2.php?option=com_kunena&task=new

Sorry for the repeat. I just wanted to make sure people could find the answer.

As this is your first installation of Kunena, you are strongly advised to install Kunena 1.0.9. Kunena 1.5.0a should only be used by experienced users of earlier versions of Kunena and it should only be installed on test sites.I've been trying various forums w/ my Joomla install and I stumbled on Kunea ... [but] I can't seem to add a new forum. I click on the "Forum Administration" link in the Kunea Control Panel and then click "New". It then take me back to the Control Panel. Uninstall K 1.5.0a and install K 1.0.9. Then see if you have problems in creating new forums.

Essentially, from what I've read (and I have no personal experience in this matter), you need to uninistall Kunena and DROP all the SQL tables that have "fb_" prefix. Some suggestions were offered in the discussion topic Downgrade ; you may find your answers there. Other suggestions have been offered in several discussions where people have had problems with 1.5.0a ... you could search those for an answer.
