Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hello,

The string COM_KUNENA_LOGIN_REMEMBER_ME is not being translated in Greek in Kunena 1.6 and 1.6.1.

It therefore appears like that "COM_KUNENA_LOGIN_REMEMBER_ME" in the front page!

Other strings are translated properly as far as I can see.

Please correct this in the official installation, I can correct this in my local installation but reverts with every update.

One possible correct translation would be: Να με θυμάσαι

You can also inform the Greek translator of this so he can update Greek package for the next version which K developers included in K installation package...

Thank you. I will inform the author about this.

In the event that the translator does not respond with an updated translation, how can I or somebody else help with this issue (in an official way)? It's a single string in this case (I haven't done extensive checks for other strings). But this one is obvious because it's in the login page at the front.

Hi there and Merry Christmas to all! I'm the author of the Greek translation for Kunena, which is currently outdated I would say; it is still based on the 1.6RC version of Kunena and I will try to have it updated after the new year's eve in the beginning of January. Until then you have to alter the .ini files of the translation yourself ignite and append any strings you might be needing.
